Description  

Navy blue suede, quilted shoulders and a snap-button collar. The Ripel Blue is a biker jacket with a softer, richer edge.

Light yet tough, goatskin is a practical leather for everyday wear. It breaks in with wear and keeps its shape. Suede gives it a velvety nap and a rich depth of colour.

It follows the original biker shape, cut short and close. It has a band collar with a snap button, quilted shoulders, zip cuffs and a zip fastening.

Inside, a quilted polyester lining adds warmth without bulk, and two outside pockets keep your essentials close.

The blue colourway stands out without shouting. Pair it with black jeans or charcoal trousers and let the colour lead.

It looks right with jeans and boots or simply over a plain tee. Suede rewards a little care. Brush it gently to lift the nap and keep it away from heavy rain.

The biker jacket started life on the motorcycle in the mid-twentieth century and has been a wardrobe staple ever since. Its short, close cut sits neatly at the waist, so it pairs as easily with a tee and jeans as it does over a shirt.
